B Meets are developmental meets. Swimmers can earn ribbons for placing either 1st, 2nd, or 3rd AND for participation.

Please be aware of the following B Meet Eligibility Rules: 

• Swimmers may swim a MAXIMUM of TWO events (IM's count as a stroke)
• The swimmer MUST be able to LEGALLY swim the stroke featured in the event.
• -Swimmers that place 1^st, 2^nd, or 3^rd place in the prior A-meet may swim as unofficial swimmers in the following B-meet.
  -An unofficial swimmer may not swim for place, but their time is recorded and considered official (i.e., may be used in the ladder for seeding in Individual Divsionals, etc.)
  -A swimmer is eligible to be awarded a place ribbon in each week’s B meet as long as he/she did not win a first, second, or third place ribbon in any individual event in the previous Saturday’s regularly scheduled NVSL “A” meet.
